This axle was designed not only to be the strongest but to also be long lasting and not break your bank. What we have done is we’ve used 4340 chromoly steel for our CV joints. So both the inner and outer CV and its internal components like the race and cage use this material. Since 4340 chromoly is more elastic it will take the load transferred through the axle shaft and absorbs it so that it does not give any extra stress to your differential. This means you can put down some serious power from your differential as well without worrying about the inner components or axle shaft. We left no stone unturned when designing this axle. We re-engineered the inner cage design to increase its strength beyond just changing materials.
